Vintage Show & Shine Area

New for 2007! - There will also be an air-cooled show and shine area (non-judged) for vintage Volkswagens -- so if you have an older Bus, Notchback, Panel, Bug, Ghia, etc. that you love to drive and show off, bring it down to waterwagens this year. Vintage Show & Shine is only $25 and includes general admission for the driver, so pre-register your vintage VW today!

Vintage Drag Racing

New for 2007! - We are inviting Volkswagen air-cooled powered vehicles to join in the drag racing at waterwagens. Pricing will be the same as water-cooled cars, and all the same drag racing rules will apply. So pre-register online today to save some money! We anticipate plenty of track time for both air-cooled and water-cooled cars, and will run separate brackets for each, along with some water vs. air competitions!

Swap Meet Spaces

New for 2007! - 20’x20’ spaces and you are allowed one vehicle. A trailer counts as a vehicle. Swap spaces are open to both water and air cooled parts. No new part sales are allowed from swap spaces, you will be removed from the event for breaking this rule, no exceptions. Swap spaces are $25 each - register on the day of the event only.

General Car Show Information

The car show portion of the event will consist of 25+ classes of cars covering both Audi and water-cooled Volkswagen.  There will also be a higher level of car show competition with the ProClass.

One special option open during pre-registration is to participate in both the car show and the drag racing.  This allows those enthusiasts that want to to be able to both "show" and "go."  These competitors will be judged in a special car show area first thing in the morning to allow them time to set-up and be judged, then to pass through tech for racing and still get the majority of the day on the track racing.  Again, this is only open during pre-registration.

More details on the car classes and judging can be found here.

Racing

Drag racing at waterwagens will allow for a great amount of track time for the participants.  In the morning, there will be open track time to allow for practice runs, dial ins, and tuning as required.  After the lunch time break, the bracket racing will begin.

There will be awards for the winner in each bracket, and an award for the overall fastest ET of the day.

All rules/regulations of Pacific Raceways will be in effect for the drag racing portion of waterwagens (Additional information on drag racing, including the NHRA rulebook can be found at http://www.nhra.com):
