waterwagens 2008 Event Announcement

Northwest European regrets to announce that the 2008 waterwagens event has been cancelled. Due to scheduling conflicts with the venue, we are sorry to announce that the 2008 event will not be held. waterwagens has become known as the premier and largest west coast event for VW and Audi enthusiasts and it is disappointing that the 2008 event will not be held, however, it was a decision that had to be made at this time.

We are evaluating our options for 2009 and thank you for all of your support over the years and into the future.

waterwagens is the premier Audi and watercooled VW event held at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington, just 30 miles from Seattle. This ideal location is less than a three hour drive from Portland, Oregon as well as Vancouver, British Columbia. We also welcome a large number of attendees and participants from California every year as well. Make plans now to attend this year's event - car show, drag racing, and so much more!

The 2007 event was a smashing success. Over 3,500 attendees enjoyed the largest waterwagens event yet. The car show and vendor area saw well over 350 Volkswagen and Audi vehicles on display, with 240 participants in the judged portion of the car show. We saw just over 120 cars participate in the drag racing event. It truly was a fantastic event for in 2007, even with a few spots of rain in the morning.

The 2008 event is our 8th annual event (dates to be announced late in 2007), and promises to bring some new twists to your old favorites! We will be making some exciting announcements in the coming months on all that the 2008 event will hold. Car Show? Yes. Drag Racing? Yes. Hundreds of cars on display? You can count on that. Dozens of vendors selling all the latest accessories and performance parts? Yep. Sunshine, food, cold drinks (including beer for the 21+ crowd)? Absolutely. We are excited about our 8th year with this event, and look forward to seeing the thousands of you that will be coming out again this summer!
